Alwaysget someone else to make the measurements for you: measuring yourselfwill give inaccurate numbers and could lead to disappointment. Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; do not measure over other clothing.
For Standard Dresses
Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it acrossthe fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down atyour sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.
This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it`san inch or so above your belly button. Also known as the naturalwaistline.
This is the widest part of your hips, across thehipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the naturalwaistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.
Hollow to Floor
This is the length from your hollow ( thehollow just under your neck ) to your heels. (Take the tape from yourfront, with bare foot ). You should stand upright and your feet shouldkeep together.
For Maternity Dresses
Measure around the highest part of your chest directly under the arms.Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides.
Bust - Not your bra size! Take the tape around yourback and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your armsshould be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when takingthis measurement.
Measure immediately underneath the breasts (around the chest).
Measure around the fullest part of your belly keeping the tape measure a little loose for comfort.
Hips- This is the widest part of your hips, across thehipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the naturalwaistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.

Arm Length - Measure from your shoulder point to the wrist.
Armseye - Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. This measurement is used for sleeve sizes.
